What you have built already

Read this first. With the tools and the time you had, this is what is genuinely working on Bay Valley Companies today.

Already in place

  • A real operation, stated plainly. One address, one phone number and one support address on every page: 80 Bay Valley Rd., Kenly NC 27542, 844-357-1776, support@bayvalleyco.com.
  • Google's own SEO audit gives the home page 100 out of 100, with 93 for accessibility on mobile. That is the technical checklist: crawlable, mobile friendly, valid tags, readable links. Most sites we measure fail it.
  • Every one of the 11 images on the home page carries alt text. Zero missing. Somebody did that on purpose.
  • Desktop is genuinely fast. 88 out of 100 for performance and a 1.66 second main image. The build is sound; only the mobile version is heavy.
  • Usability grades 84 out of 100, level with the best of the four competitors we measured with the same instrument on the same day.
  • Managed, current hosting. The site runs on WordPress.com's Atomic platform with the Blocksy theme, Elementor Pro and Jetpack, behind HTTPS, HSTS and a CDN, so patching, uptime and security are somebody else's problem.
  • A working quote request form, a click-to-call link and a click-to-email link, so a buyer has three ways to start without hunting for one.
  • The technical basics are clean: HTTPS, mobile viewport, favicon and a canonical URL.

What is working

  • Everything you have published is crawlable. robots.txt is valid, the sitemap resolves, and nothing is accidentally blocked.
  • A working sitemap.xml, so search engines can find everything you publish.
  • A valid robots.txt. Nothing is accidentally blocking crawlers.

What can be improved

  • Your whole site is 15 pages. sitemap-1.xml lists 15 URLs, read directly on 17 September 2026. The four competitors we measured publish 97, 118, 141 and 1,077.
  • Not one post has ever been published. The WordPress posts endpoint returns an empty list and the RSS feed carries zero items, so the blog has never been used.
  • The domain is 2.4 years old (registered 29 April 2024, RDAP). Three of the four competitors carry between 9 and 29 years of history. Part of the gap is simply time you have not had yet.
  • Competitors we measured pull a median of 145 visits a month. You are at 44.
  • No blog or content section. It is the cheapest way to add pages that rank.
  • Only 302 words on the home page. Thin pages rank thin.

How you compare in your market

What is working

  • HTTPS across the site.
  • A proper mobile viewport. The site adapts to phones.
  • All 11 images carry alt text. That is unusually good and it feeds both accessibility and image search.
  • Open Graph tags are set, so shared links preview correctly.
  • A canonical URL is declared, preventing duplicate-content dilution.
  • Sitemap and robots.txt both present and readable.

What can be improved

  • Meta description is 349 characters. Aim for 140 to 160.
  • No LocalBusiness markup. Google has to guess your address and service area instead of reading them from the page.
  • No Product or Service schema. Search engines read what you sell as plain text instead of as a structured list of services.
  • 302 words on the home page. Thin for a competitive query.
  • No content section to build topical authority.

What is working

  • Desktop performance 88/100.
  • Layout shift 0.07. Nothing jumps while the page loads.
  • Accessibility 93/100.

What can be improved

  • Mobile performance 61/100. Most local searches happen on a phone, and this is where they land.
  • Largest paint 8.4s on mobile. Google's threshold is 2.5s, and slow pages rank lower.
  • No Chrome field data yet. Google has not seen enough real visitors on this site to publish live speed numbers, which is itself a traffic signal.

Design and user experience

Your live pages, captured today. What a first-time visitor sees in the first five seconds, and the changes that would move the needle.
Home page, bayvalleyco.com, captured 17 September 2026. The first full screen carries the headline and no button.
Home page, bayvalleyco.com, captured 17 September 2026. The first full screen carries the headline and no button.
E-commerce Store Development and Management. One paragraph, one orange button, and the button goes to the contact page.

The live Press page. The body text under the headline is placeholder Lorem ipsum, published and indexed.
The live Press page. The body text under the headline is placeholder Lorem ipsum, published and indexed.

What is working

  • The brand is consistent and confident. Navy and orange, one logo, one heavy display face, used the same way on every page.
  • The promise lands in seven words. WE DON'T JUST DO MERCH. WE DO MERCH BETTER. Nobody has to guess what you sell.
  • Service pages are properly structured. A dark banner with the page name, then a photo beside a short paragraph and a single orange button. A visitor always knows where the next click is.
  • Real photography of your own operation, not stock. The whiteboard and floor shots are yours and they read as yours.
  • Six services, numbered 01 to 06 on the home page: print on demand, bulk printing, fulfillment, e-commerce development, e-commerce management, graphic design. That is a clear menu.

What can be improved

  • Nothing to click in the first screen. The hero fills the full 1400 by 900 viewport with a headline and no button. Printing, Fulfillment and Contact Us all sit below the fold.
  • Every button on the site ends in the same place. Contact our Team, Contact us to Learn More and Let us chat all resolve to the same phone number and support address. There is one door, and it is a conversation.
  • The Success Stories page carries no success story. It repeats the E-commerce page copy word for word: same headline, same three paragraphs, no client named, no store linked, no number.
  • The Press page is publishing Lorem ipsum. Placeholder Latin sits under the headline Bay Valley Companies Launches New Website, live and indexed, today.
  • No pricing, no minimums and no turnaround times anywhere on the site. A brand comparing three suppliers on a Tuesday afternoon cannot place you without calling first.
  • The quote path leaves your own site. The request form is hosted outside bayvalleyco.com, so the highest-intent moment you have happens on a page you do not control and cannot measure.
  • The mobile hero is the slow part. 8.38 seconds to paint the main image on a phone, against a 2.5 second target. Desktop paints the same image in 1.66 seconds.

What is working

  • Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are all linked from the footer of every page, so a visitor always has somewhere to go.
  • The Instagram bio states the offer in one line: New school vibes. Old school hustle. Custom printing and fulfillment services.
  • The LinkedIn company page is claimed and complete, with the industry, the size band and the head office filled in.

What can be improved

  • 34 Instagram followers and 25 LinkedIn followers, read from the public profiles on 17 September 2026. Your own home page says over one million orders shipped. The audience does not match the operation.
  • 12 Instagram posts in total. Content creators are a market you name explicitly on the site, and a creator judges a merch partner by the feed long before they call.
  • No Meta pixel and no LinkedIn Insight tag on the site, so nobody who follows you can be shown anything again after they visit.
  • Facebook could not be verified from this audit. The public page was not readable, so its follower count and last post are reported as Not measured, never as a zero.

What is working

  • You are not spending money you cannot account for. The Google Ads Transparency Center holds no advertiser and no creative for bayvalleyco.com, checked 17 September 2026.
  • Jetpack's page-view counter is running, so raw visit numbers do exist inside WordPress even though nothing else is installed.

What can be improved

  • No Google Analytics and no Tag Manager on any page. Jetpack counts page views. It does not count a quote form submission, a phone tap or an email tap, so every conversion you get is invisible. All four competitors we measured run analytics.
  • No advertising pixel of any kind. No Meta, no Google Ads, no LinkedIn. Three of the four competitors run at least one, which means they can re-reach a visitor and you cannot.
  • Two competitors are advertising on Google today. Fulfyld has 11 creatives on file, last shown 16 September 2026. Drive Fulfillment has 5, last shown 17 September 2026. They are buying the searches your buyers type.
  • No email capture platform detected. Traffic arrives, reads, and leaves without leaving an address behind.

What you cannot measure yet

Not an opinion. We counted every way a visitor can become a job on your site, then counted how many of them any tool you have installed could actually record.

4 of 5 sites
Any ad pixel installed

Ad conversion tag
0 of 5 sites
Call tracking
0 of 5 sites

What is working

  • 1 click-to-call link on the page. On a phone that is one tap to you.

What can be improved

  • 4 of your 4 conversion paths record nothing. A call and an email leave no trace that any tool can read.
  • No Google Ads conversion tag. The ads cannot learn which click produced work, so they keep bidding on the wrong ones.
  • No call tracking. Your main conversion is a phone call and nothing counts it.

The fix, in order

1. GA4 plus Tag Manager on every page, before anything else
2. A conversion event on the quote form, the phone tap and the email tap
3. Bring the quote request back onto bayvalleyco.com so it can be measured
4. One tracked phone number, so calls attach to a source
5. Meta and Google Ads pixels installed now, so the audience builds before you spend
6. One view: visits in, quotes out, by source

None of this changes how you sell. It only makes what you already do countable.

Book a 15 minute conversation
No commitment, no pitch, no cost. Fifteen minutes on your numbers.
How these numbers were produced
  • Your live site, fetched and parsed on 17 September 2026 (markup, headings, schema, images, links, tags and social links).
  • robots.txt and sitemap.xml, for page counts and indexable surface.
  • RDAP, for the domain registration date.
  • Tranco public top-million list, for popularity rank where a domain appears in it.
  • Google PageSpeed Insights, for speed and Core Web Vitals where available.
  • Public ad libraries (Meta, Google Ads Transparency Center, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Public social profiles, read directly.
  • The same measurement, run on the same day, against 4 competitors: fulfyld.com, contract-dtg.com, drivefulfillment.com, amplifier.com.

One note on the composite score. Our standard audit includes an online-ordering component. A business that books work by quote never wanted a checkout, so that component is excluded from the grades shown here rather than counted against you.

The traffic figure is modelled, not measured. No free source publishes another company's real visitor counts. Our model is built from the pages a site has actually written, and it has been calibrated against real Google Search Console data on properties we own. It is shown as a range because the true value moves within it.

Anything we could not measure says so. Nowhere on this page is a missing value replaced with a plausible one.
