CFDFpromo · Prepared for LN Group

We looked at LN Group before today

Ten short questions, written for LN Group. We go first, then it is your turn. No presentation and no price today.

What we saw before today

LN Group Branding & Promotions, Kamloops, British Columbia. Screen printing, embroidery, large format print, signage and promotional products, produced in house, with an art department.

7
visits a month (modelled estimate, range 4 to 13, not a measurement)
32
mobile speed score out of 100 (Google lab test, Oct 9)
47
overall site score out of 100 (our checker)
Your production side is strong and it shows: 6 and 12 colour automatic presses, embroidery, large format, an art department, and a long list of Kamloops teams and causes you support.
The home page still opens on face masks, and the footer reads 2016.
We did not find your team stores anywhere on the site.
Charles: Todd signs as Sales and Branding Consultant. No owner is named on the site, so question 9 matters. He came from our own Kamloops email and answered twice inside 40 minutes. The Oct 9 meeting did not happen (a staff member did not show up), rebooked for Oct 23. His only stated fact so far: they run their stores on OMG. The site lists SAGE, PPPC and SGIA memberships: never suggest dropping any of them. Read the "we go first" line out loud on every question, then ask, then stop talking. Ten questions is the whole meeting: do not add any. Write their words, not a summary.
01

What made you say yes to this call?

We go first. We used to start with a presentation and a price. Both were guesses. Today we just listen.
Charles: this is the trigger. Something happened that put this on the list. He already has a store platform, took the call anyway and rebooked after the first one fell through. Let him name why. Do not name fees first.
02

You use OMG for your team stores. What do you like about it? What do you not like?

We go first. Our first product was add-ons for other store platforms. It worked, but our clients still did too much by hand. So we changed.
Charles: ADAPTED TO THEIR PLATFORM. OMG user, his own words by email. Let them defend what works first. Never run down what they chose: the part they "work around" is the pain, in their words.
03

Walk us through one order. Where does your team lose time?

We go first. We went through more than 500 things shops told us. Most do not lack orders. They lack time.
Charles: listen for people, steps and hours. If a number comes up (hours a week, people per order), write it exactly: the offer is built on it. For a team store: who builds it, who chases the coach, how the closed store reaches production.
04

A coach or a parent cannot find your stores on lngroup.ca. Is that on purpose?

We go first. We built stores that looked good and sold nothing. A store nobody finds is a cost. So we looked at yours like a buyer would. On lngroup.ca we found no link to any store, and the Order Now link in the menu did not load when we tried it on Oct 9.
Charles: ADAPTED TO WHAT THE PROFILE FOUND. Pain 2 in the dossier. Re-test the Order Now link the morning of the meeting before saying it. If he says the stores are private on purpose, ask how a new team finds out you offer them. State the finding as something we saw, never as a fault. "Is that on purpose?" lets them answer without defending.
05

On a $10,000 team store, how much goes to the platform? Who pays it?

We go first. We ask about money early so we do not build your offer on a guess. Rough numbers are fine.
Charles: ADAPTED TO THEIR SET-UP. Pain 1 in the dossier, a hypothesis until he gives the number. Follow with: roughly how much went through stores last year? Never quote a fee or a figure yourself. If they do not know the number, that is the finding: ask who would know.
06

What did you buy for the business and never really use? Why?

We go first. We lost clients who never used what we built. It was never about price. We gave them too much to do. Now we do the set-up ourselves.
Charles: this is the objection you will hear at meeting 2 (no time, nobody to run it, the last tool failed), so hear it now. Also listen for "we looked at another platform and stayed": ask what made them stay.
07

What do your teams, schools or companies ask for that you cannot do today?

We go first. Our clients often tell us what to build next. Yours probably do too.
Charles: every "we said no" is a store or a tool we show at meeting 2. Ask who the client was and what it was worth. Fundraising programs are on his site with no store behind them: listen for that. Do not bring up the Kamloops hockey team.
08

One year from now, what do you want to be different at LN Group? What is that worth to you?

We go first. We build your offer from this answer, in your words.
Charles: ask "worth" first, then "if nothing changes", so the two sit side by side. Both go on the Master word for word. If no number comes: "roughly, closer to ten thousand or a hundred thousand?"
09

Who else decides with you?

We go first. We have seen good decisions stall because one person never saw what the other saw.
Charles: names the room we are really selling to. Invite that person to meeting 2. His title is sales. Ask who signs.
10

If you like our offer, what could still stop you?

We go first. We read every "no" we ever got. Time came first. Price came seventh. We would rather hear yours today.

Which promise matters most to you? Your pick goes in the agreement.

What we will bring to the next meeting

Charles: write the objection word for word, do not answer it today. The promise they tick leads the offer at meeting 2.

Book 15 minutes for your tailored offer

We take everything above and build you something specific: your words, your colours, the promise you picked, and a dated plan of what happens after you start. A few days is all we need.

Charles: book it before you hang up. No price today. If pushed: "I could give you a number now and it would be a guess. Give me three days and I will give you one built on what you just told me."
