Short answer

You pay for the platform licence, held in your name, plus the work you want us to do on it. What moves the number is how many stores you run, how much building you want done for you, and how much catalogue and data has to be migrated. Training is included either way.

Most vendors in this industry either publish a price that turns out not to apply to you, or refuse to discuss it until they have a meeting on the calendar. Neither is respectful of your time. This page is the middle position: the full structure of how we price, every line that can appear, and what we never charge for. The figure itself comes after a fifteen minute look at your shop, in writing, and it does not move afterwards.

What you are actually buying

Two things, and it is worth separating them because most confusion in this industry comes from mixing them together.

  • The platform licence. Held in your name, not ours. Your stores, your domain, your product data, your client list. This is the part that stays yours whatever happens between us.
  • The work done on it. Building stores, loading catalogues, configuring pricing rules and decoration, and maintaining all of it. This is the part you can take over whenever you want.

Path one is you doing the work with our training. Path two is us doing it while your team learns. The licence is identical in both, and moving between them costs nothing. That is the whole difference, and it is the main thing that moves your number.

The four things that move the number

  • How many stores. One store for your own shop is not the same as a distributor running a store per client. Volume changes it in your favour, not against you.
  • Which path. Doing the building yourself costs less and takes your team's time. Having us do it costs more and takes almost none. Neither is the upsell, they are different trades.
  • How much migration. Moving an existing catalogue, existing client data and existing stores is real work and it is quoted as real work. Starting fresh is faster and cheaper.
  • How much is already decided. A shop that has its pricing rules, product list and logo files ready launches in days. A shop that has to decide those things during the build pays for the extra time, which is why we send the list before we start.
Say this to any vendor, including us

Ask for the total first year cost in writing, with every line named, before you sign anything. If a vendor cannot produce that in a day, the number you were quoted is not the number you will pay.

What is always included

  • The licence in your name, from day one, in both paths
  • Training until your team can open a store without calling us
  • The supplier catalogues wired in, with your own markup rules
  • Your data, exportable, at any time, without asking
  • Switching between the two paths, free, in either direction

What we never charge for

  • Getting your data out, or leaving
  • The training that makes you independent of us
  • Moving from done-for-you to self-managed when your team is ready
  • Design revisions until your client approves, on a store we built for you

The guarantees that sit behind the price

We put the promise in the contract with the remedy written next to it, and you pick which one matters to you. Your first store live within 48 business hours of your assets, or we keep working at no charge. A launched store that has not earned inside 30 days, or your money back. Your team able to open a store alone within a week, or we keep training at no charge. The full list is here, along with the ones you should be demanding from any vendor.

How you get your number

  • A fifteen minute call. We look at your traffic, your current stores and your competitors.
  • You get the findings whether or not you go further. They are yours either way.
  • If it looks like a fit, the quote arrives in writing with every line named.
  • You decide with the number in front of you, not after a second meeting.

There is no pitch on that call. If we are not the right fit we say so and tell you what we would do instead, which happens more often than you might expect.

See it running with the your shop catalogue

Fifteen minutes. We show you the catalogue loaded in a real store, with markups applied, and tell you honestly what it would take for your shop. You keep the findings either way.

Questions

Why is there no price on this page?

Because a single number would be wrong for almost everyone reading it. A one store shop and a distributor running twenty client stores are not buying the same thing, and a headline figure pitched at one of them misleads the other. You get your figure in writing after a fifteen minute evaluation, before you decide anything, and it does not move afterwards.

Is there a setup fee?

Sometimes, and it depends on how much building is in front of us. A shop launching one store with their product list ready is a different job from a distributor migrating several stores and a catalogue. Whatever it is, it appears on the quote as its own line rather than being buried.

Is it per store or per licence?

The licence is the licence. What moves is how many stores you are running on it and how much of the building and maintaining you want us to do. That is why the two paths exist.

Do I pay more if I want the training?

No. Training is in both paths. We would rather you could run everything yourself and chose to keep us for the parts you do not want to do. A client who cannot leave is a client who eventually does.

What happens if I want to stop?

You keep the licence, the stores, the products and your client list, because they are in your name. There is no exit fee and no clause that holds your data hostage. Ask any vendor that question before you sign with them, including us.

Can I move between the two paths later?

Yes, in either direction, at no charge. Take it over when your team is ready, or hand a busy season back to us. Same licence, same stores, no renegotiation.
